Last Mile Delivery

Last mile delivery is the final step of the distribution process — getting products from a hub or warehouse to the end customer or retail outlet. In African FMCG, last mile delivery is the most expensive and complex stage: unpaved roads, fragmented informal outlets, small drop sizes, and cash-on-delivery requirements. Solving last mile is often the difference between a good supply chain strategy and actual execution.
